where We are from

We are from a specific County
The Diverse Counties of Ireland Beautiful in their scenery, history, and heritage, the counties define Ireland and our people. County sport teams, heritage clubs, heraldry colors and flags, tourism destinations, and regional pride, all wrap themselves around these unique and memorable names; almost surnames themselves.

A County may be thought of as the name of the district once originally given to a Count, or a noble, as duchy to a Duke, or marche to a Marquis, or barony to to a Baron. This region may represent the first "official" written boundary notation enclosure specifically identified when divided up by the "planter settlers", or Crown endowment estates. Some are based on ancient subdivisions.
