Gaelic of Scythia

Douglas Hyde, former President of The Republic of Ireland, Literary Scholar, and Gaelic Revivalist, provides an excellent summary, on many of the early genealogical lineages in his wonderful book: "A Literary History of Ireland".

Hyde's Irish studies found a line from Adam (through Noah??) to Fenius Farsa King of Scythia. Fenius Farsa started a language school. Fenius Farsa had a son Niul who also taught languages, went to Egypt and married Scota daughter of Pharoah. Niul meets the Juedaeic Aaron brother of Moses. Niul and Scota have a child named Gaedhal, said to be the namesake of the Gaels, Gaelic, Gaulic, etc. Gaedhal is healed by Moses of a snake bite. Gaedhal had a son named Esru, who had a son named Sru. During the time of Sru, the line was oppressed by Eqyptians, so they left to Crete. Sru had a son named Eber Scot, the namesake of the Scots, Scotia, Scotus, Scotland, Skyt, Skytia, Skythia, isle of Skye, etc.

Eber Scot went back to the sept's native Scythia. however a couple generation after Eber Scot they were expelled from Scythia. They migrate to an unidentified place called (approximately) Gaeihluids??

At this point there is a character called Eber of the White Knee. Eight generations after him, four ships leave for Spain.

A person named Breogan builds (a place? named) Brigantia. His son is Golahn (or Golahm), who is known as Miledh Easpain (Warrior of Spain), who is also known as Milesius or Miletius. Milesius has a brother Ith. Milesius has three children: Eremon, Eber, and Ir. Milesius leaves to Scythia, to Eqypt, married Pharoahs daughter Scota, and returns to Spain. The rest of his family goes to Ireland, from which the Irish Gaelic speaking peoples claim origin, and from which innumerable lineages flow to many of the most common surnames of Ireland.
