The Population of Ireland [ part 3 ]

What if 1 family member for each of those 71 million became a member of this website to pool data about their families origins. Those 23 million would represent every Ireland Ancestors represented today, lets say 40% of which might have the same ancestors of interest, thus approximately 9.2 million, over the course of the age spread.

That would be imposible, because there were only 7 million total people in Ireland in 1845. Therefore, theoretically, approximately 3 million must be accounted to a dircect connection to 71 million people.

So then, what if (only!) 3 million names were recorded on this webssite, wouldnt then they represent the Ireland Ancestors to all living Diaspora today. That makes 25 people for each person in Ireland at that time. Now thats nice networking for family research.

Again, realistically, if 3 million names were too many to find, gather, and store on this website, Then why not aim for the 1798 population of Dublin and recreating the missing census of James Whitelaw. The scope could theoretically be expanded to Ireland 400,000. This figure would be the same as the city of Kansas City today.

Facebook has 5 million hotmail has __ million and yahoo has __ million google has __ millon so who can laugh at an "unfeasible" venture, and this more specifically, to lock down all lines out of ireland in the last 222 years?

Here is a sample entry: Census Substitute | Dublin 1798 | population 400,000
