Neimhidh and the Nemedians

The Annals of the Four masters say that 9000 Partholans died in one week at "the age of the world 2820" and the land laid waste for 30 years until the arrival of Neimhidh and his people. Were the Partholans totally decimated? By what?

"In the Age of the world 3066", the Nemedians attacked Conan's Tower at Tory island, held by the Fomorians (and Balor of the Evil Eye?). Was this the Tory island off the coast of Donegal? Who was Conan (a.k.a. Coining) and Balor?

At the battle of Conans Tower, the Nemesians may have been nearly decimated by the Fomorians? and thereafter nearly extinct? or seriously reduced? or just the Tory Island population? just the Ireland population? The following is confusing:

"and they nearly all mutually fell by each other" ; thirty persons alone of the race of Neimhidh escaped to different quarters of the world, and they came to Ireland some time afterwards as Firbolgs. Two hundred and sixteen years' Neimhidh and his race remained in Ireland. After this Ireland was a wilderness for a period of two hundred years"

What other sources cite this archaic era and chronology of Nemedians and Ireland? (Who were their Forebearers?? #)
